This project involves the re-cladding and balcony enclosure of the Matheson Senior's High Rise located in Edmonton's Woodcroft neighbourhood. The enclosure of the underutilized balconies will increase the size of the suites, while allowing more light to come into from the new floor to ceiling windows. All suite windows are being replaced with operable triple glazed windows.
Metal cladding modernizes yet blends into the strips of pre-cast panel that will be left on the building, while the colour variations break up the vertical facade into more relatable elements.
